THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU HERE

Welcome

We’re so glad you found us online! We know that being new to a church community can be a little intimidating. Please feel free to take a look around our website to find out more about who we are and what we’re all about! We hope you’ll join us for a Sunday service to see for yourself what our church is like. Through multimedia presentations, contemporary music and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of the Bible.

You can “come as you are” because we believe that is how God takes us—“as is.” Some of our people dress up for worship services, some come business casual and some wear jeans and t-shirts.  We have ample parking adjacent to the church building.

At Christ the Cornerstone, we recognize that people come to visit church for all kinds of reasons, having diverse backgrounds and experiences. Every person and every situation is different. We try to honor that and not insist on uniformity. This requires flexibility and improvisation on our part, but it enriches our understanding of welcoming and the beauty and diversity of the God’s people.

Again, we are delighted you are interested in visiting our church! If you have more questions about CtC, or cannot find the information you are seeking, feel free to reach out to any of our staff members. You may find their contact information in the Staff Page or visit the Contact Us page for more ways to be in touch.

  • Younger children (infant through 4th grade) will love CtC Kids! CtC Kids offers a safe, high-energy, fun and dynamic environment for children during the 9 & 11 am service.
  • Infant to 4 years old – Infant through four years of age are cared for during the worship service by our loving and trained staff.
  • We invite children (Kindergarten and up) to join us for the first part of the service, and then our volunteers will lead them as a group to CtC Kids where they’ll continue their adventure with Jesus in a safe, creative, loving environment.

Our Mission...

Our mission is to love God and all people so they may experience God's life-changing love.

It Looks Like...

We hope you'll feel welcome when you step inside our doors. You'll be greeted by a friendly face and a hot cup of coffee. We have team members available to answer any questions you might have and if you haven't already joined a small group, we'd love to help you get connected. We have a variety of groups that meet each week, both in person and virtually. Throughout the week you'll see the church busy as we're home to a preschool and an active senior center. No matter your age or background we believe there's a place for you here!

What We Believe

At Christ the Cornerstone Church, we use a variety of methods to communicate. But to us, the message we communicate is unchanging. These truths - what we believe - are so important to us that we endeavor to reflect them in all that we say and do.

GOD

We believe God's one, true, holy, eternally existing in three equal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has demonstrated his love, power, wisdom, and goodness by creating the world and everything in it.

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealing the will of God. These writings are without error and the final authority on all matters of faith and how it is lived out. The Bible is the sole basis of our beliefs.

HUMANITY

Humanity was created good and upright in the image of God. Because all humans have sinned he was separated from God, our only hope is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Every person is God’s masterpiece, uniquely created with a purpose that can only be fulfilled through a personal relationship with Jesus.

JESUS

Jesus Christ came to the earth, was born of a virgin, fully God and fully man, and lived a life without sin. He voluntarily gave his life on the cross as the sacrifice for our sin, bringing God’s plan of forgiveness and new life to all who trust in him. After his death, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven as the intercessor between God and humanity. He promises to return to earth to fulfill the eternal plan of God.

SALVATION

All of scripture points to God’s plan of salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God available to everyone who accepts it. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, God provides new life for the spirit, healing for the soul and body, and forgiveness of humanity's rejection of God through sin.

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is God's personal presence in the world, convicting every person of their need for Jesus. Believers receive the gift of the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation, helping them live a life of Christ-like character. The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to be a witness to those around them and brings a deeper realization of their spiritual gifts and the boldness to pursue them. The spiritual gifts that were evident in the early Church are available for us today to encourage and build the Body of Christ.

ETERNITY

God created humanity to exist forever. Humanity will either spend his eternal existence with God through forgiveness and salvation or separated from God because of sin. Eternal union with God is heaven. Eternal separation from God is hell. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is vital to bringing hope and healing to the world. The local expression of the Church is wherever believers gather for worship, prayer, fellowship, and the teaching of God’s Word; observe baptism and communion as established by Jesus Christ, and serve others with their God-given talents and gifts. The church is a body of diverse people, each one with a story, called to work together in love and unity to announce God's good news, teach others to follow Jesus, and heal all kinds of sickness and disease for the ultimate purpose of glorifying God.
