Serving Opportunities

Discover and use your God-given talents, gifts, ability, and passions. We've got plenty of opportunities for individuals, families or groups, and people of all ages to serve. Please contact Lynne Poindexter at lpoindexter@ctcde.church to serve others with us.

Serving Ministry

  • Weekend Services

    Greet, setup or clean up at weekend services. 

  • Hope Lunch

    Help setup and serve during Wednesday Hope Lunch. 

  • CtC Kids

    Work with our CtC Kids and CtC Student Ministries.

  • Transportation Ministry

    We have been blessed with a brand new 1st 5ths passenger bus and are preparing to use this for all kinds of ministry at CtC. 


    To make this work, we need drivers. We are looking for people who would be on call as well as those willing to be scheduled for events. A class C CDL license is required and we will provide all other training. 

  • Drive-thru Prayer

    Fridays, 7 - 9 am


    Set up begins at 6:30 am

Serving Others

  • Thanksgiving Basket Project

    Kick-off: October 31

    Return: November 23


    We need volunteers to help fill Thanksgiving baskets and to distribute baskets on November 23 starting at 8 am. Come lend a hand and help bless families this Thanksgiving!

  • Serving at Churchman’s Village

    We are always looking for volunteers to help with “Showers of Blessings”  the 2nd Sunday of each month

  • Knitting & Crocheting for Charity

    Knit or crochet with us or at home! We will teach if you don't know how! Baby blankets for Door of Hope, scarves and afgans for senior living facilities, shelters, and hospitals.

Media Ministry Opportunities

Media Ministry is an important and vital aspect of the worship experience. The media ministry team uses sound, video, and computer technologies to present a message of Christ. Our Media Ministry aims to enhance the worship experience, communicate with the congregation, extending the congregation beyond the walls of the church, and broadly cast God's good message.


How Do I Get Involved?


We are looking for people who desire to continue to learn, who are team players, and most of all are committed to do their ministry. That does not mean you have to start out knowing anything about A/V. Just have a learning attitude and a willingness to be led. Volunteers will be trained for any specific technological skill or knowledge required for the ministry responsibilities, so the only prerequisite to serving is a willingness to learn and comfort in handling and using technological devices and equipment. 



Do you have a natural gift for electronics, sound or video equipment? Or maybe you just have a strong desire to learn, along with a passion to serve the body of Christ? We have many opportunities for you to serve in the Media ministry. CtC staff is here to help you learn what you’ll need to know and have fun in the process!
