The Maker's Mark
Just as a piece of artwork bear’s the mark of its creator, we bear God’s mark.
This Christmas, a friend gave me an amazing print entitled “God’s Fingerprint.” The picture I took does not do it justice. From a distance, it looks like a large fingerprint. But, when you get closer, you see that each of the lines in the fingerprint are handwritten verses from Scripture. There is one verse for every book of the Bible. At the bottom, it begins with Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning…” At the very top is Revelation 19:6:” Hallelujah!”
This awesome print reminds me that God’s fingerprints are all throughout Creation. That includes you and me.
Ephesians 2:10 says: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
You are God’s masterpiece! And you are personally signed by the Creator!

I’d like to finish with this prayer for you: Thank you, Lord God, for creating us with such care. Please give us the courage to fulfill all that You has planned for us. We rejoice that you are with us always.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
