How Has Jesus Worked in Your Own Life?
Sharing Our Personal Savior
Most people know that I am an animal person. I have two dogs and also a number are “rescues.” I have a friend who, on more than one occasion, has called me to say, “There’s a cat under my porch. I feel really bad for it. It needs help. Will you come get it?”
The last time she called with this request, I said to her, “I know you really care, and you would like to help this animal. How about if I teach you some ways to get the animal to trust you. I have many ideas that have worked for me, and I’m willing to share those with you.”
Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:20 that we are to go and make disciples. Making disciples means showing others who Jesus is, and how Jesus loves.
Sharing the way Jesus has worked in our own lives is one way we can encourage others to have a personal relationship with our Lord. I know how having Jesus in my life has made a difference for me, and by sharing our personal stories, sometimes we can open the eyes of others to see how Jesus is already working in their lives.

Here's a prayer for you...
I’d like to finish with this prayer for you: Thank you, Lord God, for calling us to share Jesus with others. Bring joy to those hearing this message today and to their homes and families. Bring into our lives the people with whom you would have us share the good news of Jesus and give us the opportunities to do so. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
