Never Stop Doing Good
Stop Tickling Me! I Can't Breathe!
As the youngest of four, I was regularly teased as a child. My siblings all knew I was extremely ticklish, and they would tickle me non-stop. I couldn’t even grasp a breath to say, “Stop tickling me!” Of course I was giggling like crazy and enjoying the attention. Until my ribs hurt. Some things must stop. Like incessant tickling.
And we can’t enter into some buildings or roads. Also violence must stop. Injustice must stop. Disrespect of our nation’s just laws must stop. But this must continue: “Let us never grow weary of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9
Let us never stop…
- Doing good deeds for others.
- Sharing with our neighbors.
- Giving generously.
- Praying for our nation.
- Protecting those who are in danger.
- Working for healthy relationships among all kinds of people.
- And loving others unconditionally as God loves us.
We are not alone. Especially we who trust in Jesus Christ are surrounded by ages of faithful brothers and sisters. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.”
We easily slip away from the path of right living, but let’s quickly realize, confess, and return to the way God wants us to live. Never give up. I pray that you take a deep breath, inhale the life-giving Holy Spirit of God, and let your loving Creator refresh and renew you. I think you'll be tickled to death...and then to new life... if you do.
Let's continue to Love, Serve, and Engage the world with God's love...

Our Loving God, we need you every moment. We need your hope. We need your peace. We need your presence to empower our righteous treatment of others. Bless our nation with correction where needed so that we can be a blessing to all people. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. Let it be so!
