For what would you empty your bank account, sell your house, and change everything in your life? Jesus answered that question for us.

Life with Jesus "Is like a merchant looking for fine pearls." When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. You are that "pearl" of great value. Jesus gave his life so that you may be reconciled with God, given new life that begins now and lasts forever. 

I'm well aware that we all still have struggles, pain, and tragedy in life even when we have faith in Jesus. But he is with us to redeem and make useful and troubles we have if we will trust him. 

Will you take a thirty-second break, a deep breath, and say a short prayer? Here's a suggestion: Thank you Jesus, for giving your life so that I can have mine forever.

Heavenly Father, just like the entrepreneur who gives it all for a business opportunity, you see us with great value. Thank you for loving us so much! Help us to trust and receive your Holy Spirit. Make us new today. Guide our thoughts, plans, and actions to love you by serving others in Jesus' name. Amen.
