You're Never too Old for Mom to Take Care of You
A Mother's Love
Almost two years ago my mother returned home to live with me, after having resided in Florida for a little over thirty years. She and I had discussed this arrangement some time ago so this was not a surprise. I was excited and looked forward to her return!
Living together has brought a few challenges here and there -- for the most part readjusting to living under the same roof again.
However, more and more I am reminded how blessed I really am to have her with me -- challenges and all. I had forgotten some of the "mom" things she used to do when I was younger -- making my favorite dishes, making and packing lunches for school, saving magazine articles on topics she knew I was interested in, surprising me with little gifts, and most important making sure my brother and I were in church on Sunday mornings. And despite some age-related health issues she still does the "mom" things for me, including the lunches!
God loves each of us -- challenges and all. Thank you Lord for Your love and for Mom's love!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of our mothers. We thank you for their love and for their sacrifice. All the love we have been given comes from You through them. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
