With gratitude for everyone who came to vote, I want to announce the results. 

• 218 votes were cast. 
• 213 Yes 
• 5 No 

The resolution to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church was approved by 98% of the votes. 

This marks a significant point in the life of Christ the Cornerstone. When any relationship breaks up, there are always mixed feelings. We pray for all who voted, and we trust God to continue to guide us.

Christ the Cornerstone remains committed to love God and all people, to serve God and all people, and to engage all people with the good message of Jesus Christ. We have much work to do still because people in our world need not only to hear the message but to experience God's life-changing love. 

Remember Romans 1:16: "I am not ashamed of the good message of Jesus because it is the power of God for the salvation of all people."
