Christian Friends
On Thursday night I went to see the Christian artists Big Daddy Weave and Ann Wilson in concert. After over a year of not seeing live performances, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was so exciting to be in a venue where Christian artists were playing and singing in praise to God.
The best part of the evening was watching all those around me, standing and raising their hands in worship. I was reminded of how blessed I am to have Christian friends to walk with me on this journey…to enjoy one another’s company and to sing and worship together.
I treasure my friends.
I hope each of you has others to walk with you….to share joys and sorrows and to support you, and to share your faith.
This weekend we will be talking about things of value, and when I think of my treasures, my friends are at the top of the list.
I hope you will join us this weekend, either online at ctcde.online.church at 9 or 11AM on Sunday, or in person in Bear at 6PM Saturday or 9AM or 11 AM Sunday or at 11 AM Sunday at Elsmere.
We are here to love God and all people so that all people may experience the
life-changing love of Jesus!
LOVE - We meet every weekend to experience God's love for us and show His love for others.
SERVE- We use our abilities, talents, skills, and passions for the good of others.
ENGAGE - We engage with friends to care for one another and to make new friends so they may experience God's kindness too.
I’d like to finish with this prayer for you: Thank you, Lord God, for friends to walk with us on the journey. Life is often not easy, but we are grateful for those you have placed in our lives to share your love. They are reminders of how very much you love us.In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
