Discover God Through Jesus, His Son
Like Son Like Father

Who are you?

My father died about five years ago, but you can learn a lot about him by getting to know me. I’m discovering the older I get, the more like my father (and sometimes mother) I become. Just today I complained that I could not do something perfectly. (I can’t remember what it was now. That’s also my aging.) I remembered how my father, Larry, would fuss over his clothes when he got dressed for church. He expected his shirt buttons, belt buckle, and pant’s zipper to be perfectly lined up. As his Parkinson’s disease progressed he fussed even more and more. When he could no longer dress himself, he still expected every piece of clothing to line up.

Today, when I caught myself fussing over a small imperfection, I said to Carolyn, “Larry’s coming to visit!”

Jesus is God’s son. You can get God’s power and love in your life today by getting to know His son, Jesus. That’s how it works. The Son reveals the Father, our Heavenly Father, to us. Like son. Like father. God loves you. God has a purpose for you. Jesus will lead you to experience all that God has for you I you’ll get to know him.
