We love to have conversations about who is the GOAT, the greatest of all time. Is it Tom Brady? Is it Hank Aaron, Tiger Woods, Prince, Michael Jackson, Thomas Edison? The only thing we can say with any degree of certainty is that these people were maybe the greatest of their time. Jesus, however, because of that authority of given to Him by God, is the greatest of all time. He's raised the dead, cast out demons, forgiven sins, restored broken lives. The others on this list? They've given us some entertainment and something to talk about. The authority of Jesus in our lives means that we can live above our circumstances because of what He has done. In Matthew 28:18, as Jesus was giving what we know as the great commission, He says, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." This weekend, we are continuing our series, Mark my Words, wth a message from Mark chapter 5. We invite you to join us 6 pm Saturday, or 9 and 11am on Sunday at Bear, 11 am Sunday at Elsmere, and online at 9 and 11 Sunday.
